In Tony Lourens’s excellent ‘Western Cape Rock’ (Blue Mountain Publishers, Cape Town 2005) Old Forest Crags is introduced as follows:

Yebo! It does feel like a jungle, with the clear stream at the bottom - you can drink from it - the strelitzia palms, the baboons (on one climb we left our rucksack at the abseil point, only to hear the buggers close by when we reached the bottom. What a relief when we reached the top again and discovered the beer was still there!) and the occasional huge puffadder. Even if you don’t want to climb it is a magical spot, though it is an awfully slippery way down when you’re not on a rope ... ask the two Angelas above!

“If you like wild climbing in a positively jungle setting, then you must visit this crag.”

Positively a 'Jungle Feeling'!
